I'm a composer, singer and writer. I began listening to the music of my father's classical guitar, my mother's folk singing and the samisen from the age of 3. My grandfather is half Japanese ainu. At the age of 14 I started singing in a rock band and by 18 I was singing professionally with a foreign artist and appearing on Japanese TV.
