The Other Side posted a videoNew album out now, download it at www.theothersidefife.com
The Other Side are all from central Fife, who got together in 2009. Within 3 months they had written and recorded 8 songs, launched themselves on Myspace and did their first gig at The Ark in Edinburgh.
Described by Andy Gee, at Dead Earnest, as Blues/Rock maestros with tasty songs and searing guitar. Pretty much sums it up.
Their debut album, Catch the Sun, is available for download, from www.theothersidefife.com, itunes, Amazon MP3, Bandcamp etc.
New album out now, Don’t Piss Down my Back and Tell me It’s Raining, download it at www.theothersidefife.com
All music is Recorded, Engineered and Produced in their own rehearsal room.
Between them their influences are wide ranging, from The Pistols, The Clash and The Damned era punk bands, through Crass, Discharge and Conflict era Anarcho punk bands. Then we have Pink Floyd, Jimmi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Country Joe and the Fish, The Who, Johny Cash, Rage Against the Machine, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters and most Blues artists you can think off. There are hundreds more of course but those are the main influences.

The songs for this…

Well it’s exactly 2 years since our first gig in The Ark in Edinburgh. Our 70th gig will be in Aberdeen at the Moorings Bar on June 3rd.
We've released an Album (which you can still download from all the usual places or for a CD send me a message), had our songs played on radio stations far and wide. We have met some wonderful new friends and bands and will continue to push ourselves as long as we are enjoying the experience.
So to the thanks…
