The Shimmer Effect is an online project conceived between two independent music producers who randomly met on looperman.com and began collaborating ideas.
Post their first project it was clear that they should align their skills to leave a universal footprint as one entity.Stephen Mullarkey and Sjanine Steyn, both individuals in their own right, are self-styled independent music creators/producers/arrangers and exploring.
Qualifications:
Stephen Mullarkey:Diploma/Sound Engineering
Sjanine Steyn: 2year Diploma/ Digital Sound Engineering
Mixed Gear:
Cubase 5, Cubase SE3, Reason 4, Sound Forge, Editing tools.
FL Studio 9, Zoom sampletrak st-244, Yamaha RM1X sequencer
Currently exploring pro-tools.
