Ugo Capeto is ...

A melodic electronica musician who doesn't take himself too seriously and likes to mix distorted electric guitars with soprano voices in an effort to create interesting melodies. Enough of the third person! I am not that much into sounds themselves as I tend to focus on melodies, which, to me at least, are absolutely essential. Initially, my goal was to write symphonies (full orchestra and everything) but that kinda fizzled away. All that remained of that noble aspiration is the use of "classical" instruments alongside more modern instruments (guitars, synthesizers) in my tunes.

I like all kinds of musical genres as long as the melodies are strong enough. Beside the more modern and contemporary stuff, I really enjoy listening to jazz, operas, and classical music. Just kidding, it's just me being a bit of a snob.

Fellow musicians: If I play a tune of yours once and can hum/sing it in the shower the next day, you've done a real good job and it's very likely I am gonna try to befriend you on reverb, youtube and twitter.

Hi Ugo, I enjoyed listening to your melodies. Your music is just as you describe it, it sounds refreshing & makes me want to sing along (which is a good thing, in my case:-)
